Alternative Treatment and Supplements

One of the main things I have discovered through this process is that many women turn to Tradition Chinese Medicine to help them with infertility.  Acupuncture and herbs is said to have helped countless women regain their periods, get pregnant, and have successful IVF treatments. I decided to seek out the best acupuncturist in my area. There's not much to choose from but I decide to go to one that I had heard lots of great things about from friends and clients of mine.  I go in to my first appointment and the office is small and a bit out-dated. But for some reason this makes me feel at ease, like it's more authentic or something.  I don't know, by brain works in weird ways.   I am led into one of the rooms and the acupuncturist first begins by taking my pulse and looking at my tongue.  He is shocked when he sees my tongue and says from the looks of it I am highly stressed and riddled with anxiety and depression.  No shit.  I tell him my diagnosis and he decides the first step is to try and lower my stress and to get my period to return.  He sticks small needles in my feet, legs, stomach, arms, hands, head, and ears.  He leaves me to relax for 30 minutes and returns with a bottle of herbs. The herbs are little black pellets, I am to take 8 at a time, 3 times a day. I go to acupuncture once a week. Throughout my research, I have read about a few supplements I should be taking. I drag my mom with me to the local vitamin shop and pick up $85 worth of supplements. I keep reminding myself this is all worth it!
Here's a list of the supplements I take:
Prenatal Vitamin
CoQ10
DHEA
L-Arginine
Royal Jelly
Wheatgrass
These are all suppose to help with reproductive health, egg quality, egg quantity, etc.
I am NOT a pill taker so it takes me ab;out 10 minutes to take them all as I have to do one at a time. But, it's all worth it, right? It can't hurt :)
